YOU ARE MY SUNSHINE

This time around, I was tasked with something I haven’t yet encountered, illustration. I was presented with a project that had me creating a cover and 2 spreads based off a form of media, and I chose a song, as you can tell! I tapped into my youthful side and wanted to go in the direction of a children’s book. The product was colorful, playful, and fit for my demographic of kids around the 3-5 year mark. My mission was to design large, colorful, and playful characters so children can see them and fall in love with them while their parents read to them.
